Connect SendGrid to collect communications platforms evidence with automated compliance tests, switched on per workspace.

Connect with an API token

1. In SendGrid:

   1. In the Twilio SendGrid console, go to Settings › API Keys and click Create API Key.
   2. Enter a name in the API Key Name box.
   3. Choose Custom Access, and in the permission categories give Teammates read access only, leaving every other category at no access.
   4. Click Create & View and copy the key; the console displays it only once.

   SendGrid shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

   SendGrid: 'The Twilio SendGrid Console displays the API key only once at creation.' Other permission options are Full Access, Billing Access and Email Address Validation Access; none is needed. The exact label of the Teammates read control in the Custom Access list was not quoted verbatim on the fetched page.

2. On Compliance › Connectors, open SendGrid, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

   Field	What to enter
   API key	Required. Stored encrypted and never shown again.

3. Click Connect with token.

These tests are switched on per workspace by the Safeguard team.
