Safeguard Docs

Mobile app

The Safeguard iOS and Android app lets you ask Griffin about your own security data from a phone, using the same account and backend as the web app.

Mobile app

Safeguard Mobile is the native iOS and Android companion to the web app. It is a chat client for Griffin, Safeguard's assistant, so a signed-in team member can ask about their organization's own security data (vulnerabilities, scans, compliance, connected repositories) from a phone.

It is a client, not a second product. It signs in to the same account and uses the same backend as the web app, so conversations, skills and connectors you set up on the web are there on the phone.

Get the app

Install it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The download page lists both. Android needs Android 10 or later.

What you can do

  • Ask Griffin. Ask in plain language about vulnerabilities, scans, compliance posture and connected repositories. Answers stream into the chat. See Griffin AI.
  • Attach files. Add a document or image to a message, up to 50 MB.
  • Use your skills and connectors. Skills and connectors are synced from your workspace. Connectors that use OAuth open the provider's authorization page in the phone's browser and return to the app when you finish.
  • Read notifications. The in-app feed shows your Safeguard notifications.
  • Use a tablet. The layout adapts to iPad, Android tablets and resizable windows.

Sign in and privacy

Sign in with your Safeguard account, including multi-factor authentication where your organization uses it. You see only the data your role allows in the web app: the phone does not widen access. Tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.

To remove your account from the phone, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account, and confirm twice.
