Connect with an API token

In Rocket.Chat:
- Sign in to your Rocket.Chat server, click your account profile icon and select Profile › Personal Access Tokens.
- Enter a token name and choose the two-factor option from the dropdown (for example Ignore Two Factor Authentication).
- Click Add and verify with your password or 2FA code.
- Copy the user ID and the access token shown; Rocket.Chat shows them only once.
Where to find the other values:
- Server URL: The https address of your own Rocket.Chat server, the one you sign in to.
- User ID: Shown alongside the access token when you click Add under Profile › Personal Access Tokens.
Rocket.Chat shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

On Compliance › Connectors, open Rocket.Chat, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

Click Connect with token.
Frameworks
Safeguard's automated tests read Rocket.Chat and map to the controls below. When a test passes, the result is evidence toward each control it maps to, in every framework listed. It is evidence toward a control, not proof that the control is met on its own.
