Connect with an API token

  1. In HYPR:

    1. In the HYPR Control Center, click Access Tokens in the left navigation pane.
    2. Click Create Token.
    3. Enter a display name in Name your Token.
    4. Under Select an Application, choose the application from the dropdown.
    5. Select the API token type and click Next.
    6. Choose Bearer Token from the Token Type dropdown, select the narrowest Permission Type that covers Control Center reads, and set a Token Expiration Date.
    7. Click Next, then copy the token. It is never displayed again after this dialog.

Where to find the other values:

    • Base URL (optional): The address of your HYPR Control Center.

HYPR shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.

The token's expiration resets to the current date plus its TTL each time it is used. The docs list Permission Type categories (Control Center, Application, HYPR Adapt, HYPR Affirm) but do not name a read-only permission, so least privilege could not be confirmed. Verification: the fetched page does not name the application to select (Control Center Admin was not confirmed) or the tenant URL format.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open HYPR, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

No automated compliance test reads HYPR yet, so no framework lists it. How connectors provide evidence for frameworks: Frameworks and connectors.
