Connect with an API token
-
In Freshsales:
- Sign in to Freshsales as the user Safeguard should act as.
- Click the Profile icon and select Settings. The Personal Settings page appears.
- Click the API SETTINGS tab.
- Enable the captcha.
- In the field Your API key, click Copy and paste the key into API token / Personal access token.
Where to find the other values:
- Base URL (optional): Your Freshsales account address (the domain in your browser when signed in); the fetched article does not show where the bundle alias is displayed.
Freshsales has one personal API key per user; it carries that user's permissions. To revoke access, click Reset Key. Verification: the fetched article does not say whether the key stays visible, or that an admin is needed to see every user.

Frameworks
Freshsales publishes no API for what these tests check, so its evidence is an attestation: connect it to record the connection, then attest the result. An accepted attestation counts toward each control below.
| Framework | Evidence | Controls | Tests |
|---|---|---|---|
| SOC2 | Attestation | CC6.2, CC6.3 | 1 |
| ISO/IEC 27001 | Attestation | A.5.18 | 1 |
| HIPAA Security Rule | Attestation | 164.308(a)(3) | 1 |
| PCI DSS | Attestation | 7.2.4 | 1 |
| NIST CSF 2.0 | Attestation | PR.AA-05 | 1 |
These tests are switched on per workspace by the Safeguard team.
