Connect with an API token

In Linode:
- In Akamai Cloud Manager, click your username and select API Tokens under My Profile.
- Click Create a Personal Access Token.
- Enter a Label and choose an Expiry.
- Set Read Only for Account, Firewalls and Linodes, and No Access for every other service.
- Click Create Token and copy it from the pop-up; after closing it you won't be able to view the token again.
Linode shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
Linode is now Akamai Cloud Computing. The read-only scopes map to account:read_only, firewall:read_only and linodes:read_only in the API.

The permissions Safeguard needs:
account:read_only,firewall:read_only,linodes:read_only. -
On Compliance › Connectors, open Linode, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

Click Connect with token.
Frameworks
Safeguard's automated tests read Linode and map to the controls below. When a test passes, the result is evidence toward each control it maps to, in every framework listed. It is evidence toward a control, not proof that the control is met on its own.

These tests are switched on per workspace by the Safeguard team.
