Connect ClickUp to collect ticketing evidence with automated compliance tests, switched on per workspace.

Connect with an API token

1. In ClickUp:

   1. Log in to ClickUp.
   2. In the upper-right corner, click your avatar and select Settings.
   3. In the sidebar, click Apps.
   4. Under API Token, click Generate (or Regenerate), then click Copy.

   ClickUp's public documentation does not cover every step.

   Personal tokens start with pk_ and never expire; they act with the user's full access, with no read-only option. The fetched page does not say where the UI shows the Team (Workspace) ID; the Get Authorized Teams (Workspaces) API endpoint returns it. The fetched page does not name a required Workspace role or say whether the token can be viewed again.

   The permissions Safeguard needs: owner or admin token (to see roles).

2. On Compliance › Connectors, open ClickUp, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

Safeguard's automated tests read ClickUp and map to the controls below. When a test passes, the result is evidence toward each control it maps to, in every framework listed. It is evidence toward a control, not proof that the control is met on its own.

These tests are switched on per workspace by the Safeguard team.
