Connect with an API token
-
In LogicGate:
- Sign in to Risk Cloud as the user Safeguard should act as (ideally a dedicated user with read-only access to the needed applications).
- Click the Person icon in the top right corner, then Profile, then open the Access Key tab. If the tab is missing, ask your Risk Cloud administrator for API privileges.
- In the Access Keys section, enter a name for the key and click Create Access Key.
- Copy the access key (LogicGate says to use it as your Bearer token) and paste it into API token / Personal access token. The access key and refresh token are displayed once and cannot be viewed again after you navigate away.
Where to find the other values:
- Base URL (optional): The address you use to sign in to Risk Cloud (your company's Risk Cloud host).
LogicGate shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
Tokens expire after one year and must be regenerated. Access is tied to the generating user; LogicGate's page does not document a separate read-only token scope, so restrict the user's Risk Cloud role. The base URL format is not stated on the fetched pages; the getting-started URL now redirects to logicgate.ai.
