Connect with an API token
-
In Drata:
- In Drata, select your account in the bottom left, then Settings.
- Select API Keys, then select Create API Key.
- Enter a Name (it cannot be changed once the key is active), choose an Expiration date (12 months, Never or Custom), and optionally list Allowed IP Addresses to restrict where the key can be used.
- Under Access, select All read (read-only; covers all current and future read scopes).
- Copy the key, acknowledge that you saved it securely, and select Done to activate it. Paste it into Safeguard's API token / Personal access token field.
Drata shows the secret only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
