Replicate

Connect Replicate to Safeguard: what it provides, how to set it up, and the frameworks it provides evidence for.

Connect Replicate to record its access review and data terms as attested evidence. Replicate offers no admin API for automated tests.

Connect with an API token

  1. In Replicate:

    1. Sign in to Replicate and open your account's API tokens page (replicate.com/account/api-tokens).
    2. Create a new token with a descriptive name and copy it (tokens are 40 characters and start with r8_).

Replicate's public documentation does not cover every step.

Replicate's docs point to the API tokens page but do not name the buttons, say whether a token is shown once, or describe scopes; no read-only token is documented. Tokens can be disabled from the web interface.

  2. On Compliance › Connectors, open Replicate, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
API token / Personal access tokenRequired. Stored encrypted and never shown again.
    Base URL (optional)—
Account / Org / Workspace (optional)—
  3. Click Connect with token.

Frameworks

Replicate publishes no API for what these tests check, so its evidence is an attestation: connect it to record the connection, then attest the result. An accepted attestation counts toward each control below.
