How Academy courses are structured — modules, lessons, video/text/audio blocks, progress rules, and the per-course AI tutor.

Course structure
Every course is organized as modules → lessons → content blocks. A lesson typically combines a video with a written deep-dive; some lessons add audio. Block types at launch:
- Video — embedded player with full keyboard controls.
- Text — written lessons in rich markdown.
- Audio — hosted audio lessons for listening on the go.
Progress
Progress is tracked per content block, and the rules are per type:

A lesson is complete when all its required blocks are complete; a course is complete when all lessons are — which unlocks the certification exam, if the course has one. Your enrollment shows a rolled-up progress percentage on the dashboard and course page.
If a video provider is temporarily unavailable, the block renders a fallback link and your recorded progress is unaffected.
The AI tutor
Courses can have human tutors, an AI tutor, or both — listed on the course page. The AI tutor is a chat, scoped to the course you're in:
- Ask questions about the material at any point in a lesson.
- Answers are generated against the course's content scope — it's a course tutor, not a general chatbot.
- Tutor chat requires enrollment in the course.
AI tutors are always labeled as AI, in chat and in the community alike.
Picking up where you left off
Everything resumes: lessons remember your position, the dashboard lists your enrollments by recent activity, and Cmd/Ctrl+K jumps straight to any lesson by name.
