Safeguard Academy

For Teams

Using Safeguard Academy for team enablement — onboarding engineers onto supply chain security and the Safeguard platform, with verifiable certificates as the completion signal.

For teams

Safeguard Academy is built for individuals, but it works as a team enablement tool out of the box:

  • Onboarding — the Safeguard Certified Practitioner course takes an engineer from supply-chain security fundamentals to working fluency with scanning, triage, VEX (Vulnerability Exploitability eXchange), SBOMs (Software Bills of Materials), and compliance — the exact workflow your team runs in the product.
  • Same accounts — learners use their existing Safeguard accounts, so there's nothing to provision. Anyone on your team can enroll today.
  • A verifiable completion signal — every certificate is a public URL with live status. "Has everyone on the team certified?" is answered by collecting links, not screenshots.
  • Free — enablement at zero cost per seat, including the certification.

Certificates identify the holder, not a tenant — the Academy holds no customer data, and nothing about your organization's Safeguard usage appears on any public page.

Team-level features — cohort dashboards, bulk enrollment, private courses for customer teams — aren't part of the Academy today. If your organization wants them, tell us: hi@safeguard.sh.
