Connect with an API token

1. In BetterCloud:

   1. Sign in to the BetterCloud Developer Platform at https://developer.bettercloud.com/.
   2. In the left navigation under Get Started, click Dev Settings.
   3. Click Manage Tokens ("Manage the BetterCloud API tokens tied to your individual connection to the BetterCloud Developer Platform") and create a token there.

   Where to find the other values:

   • Base URL (optional): BetterCloud's published OpenAPI definition lists the API server as https://api.bettercloud.com/api.

   BetterCloud's public documentation does not cover every step.

   The Developer Platform is a single-page app; the navigation labels (Get Started, Dev Settings, Manage Tokens) were read from its own published page code, not from a help article. BetterCloud's API terms say API tokens are created in the service and access controls are configured in the customer's account, but no readable official page gives the token form's fields, the available access levels (a read-only option), token expiry, or whether the token is shown only once. BetterCloud's support help center did not return a token article for these searches. Who may use the Developer Platform (role or plan) was not found. Verification: WebFetch of developer.bettercloud.com returns only the app shell; the labels Get Started, Dev Settings, Manage Tokens and the Manage Tokens description were confirmed in the portal's own served script (developer.bettercloud.com/static/js/main chunk). The OpenAPI file confirms the server https://api.bettercloud.com/api.

2. On Compliance › Connectors, open BetterCloud, click Connect, choose API token and fill in:

3. Click Connect with token.
